Stargate SG-1’s ratings held up for the second episode of season 9. Avalon Part 2 (the second part of a three part premiere) earned a 2.1 household rating and 2.6 million viewers. Atlantis did not fair quite so well though with The Intruder earning a 2.0 rating which is a 10% drop from the previous week.

Battlestar Galactica took the hardest knock though with a 23% drop from its season 2…

Last season’s cliffhanger is quickly resolved with the arrival of the Daedalus just in the nick of time. Not only do they have a ZPM to power Atlantis shields, but they’re loaded with so much Asgard technology they can take on one of the Wraith Hive ships. But there are still Wraith all over Atlantis and our heroes are largely unaccounted for.
