This one will ruffle some feathers. Okay full disclosure. I’m British. I live in America but I spent the first 28 years of my life in Scotland so I am unquestionably British. Maybe I’m biased.

But I’m not wrong.

Stargate Atlantis: Search & Rescue Part 2, Review

Stargate Atlantis returns for its fifth season with Search & Rescue Part 2 which concludes Season 4’s closer. Nice pan out from the ruined building into space and across to Michael. I wonder how much they spent on that special effect?

This was actually the first episode of Atlantis that I watched in SciFi’s HD broadcast and the special effects in particular did benefit from it.

Stargate: SG-1 - The Ark of Truth, Review

The Ark of Truth is the first direct to DVD adventure for Stargate: SG-1. The 102 minute long (so says the back of the DVD) picks up almost directly from where the tv series finished and finally presents us with a conclusion to the Ori story arc which ran for the last two seasons of SG-1.
