Terminator TV Pilot Okayed
Fox has approved the shooting of a pilot episode of a new tv show based on the Terminator movies. The show has the working title The Sarah Connor Chronicles (I pretty much guarantee they’ll change that) and will focus on Sarah Connor and her son John Connor according to Variety.
The series would be placed in between the second and thrid Terminator movies and will somehow link to a new trilogy of movies which are being envisioned. In fact a fourth Terminator movie is in development at well. Linda Hamilton (who played Sarah Connor in the first two Terminator films) will not be involved in the show and neither with Arnold Schwarzenegger who played the Terminator.
Hmm, so it’s a spinoff show from a series of movies that seems to have run out of steam after the second one anyway and that doesn’t feature any of the cast from the movies and will focus on the Connors, not the Terminator. Hmmm.
Oh and if it was any good Fox is bound to cancel it just like they’ve done to Arrested Development (yeah I know it’s not sci-fi, but I’m pissed about that one).
