The 4400 Season 3 Production Begins Plus Spoilers

Shooting for the third season of The 4400 for the USA Network will begin in Vancouver in late February. The 4400 features the stories of 4400 abductees who were taken at various points in the past and returned to Earth by an orb of light all on a single day. The abductees have no memory of their experiences and they have not aged while they were gone. Some have remarkable abilities.

Season 3 of the series is already in pre-production and shooting begins on February 28th, carrying on through July 26th. The season will have 13 episodes and picks up a few months after the events at the end of season 2.

The 4400 has an advantage similar to Battlestar Galactica in that it airs on a cable channel here in the US. In order to be considered a ratings success it needs to draw a much smaller audience.

I suspect that the only real future for science fiction (which has always been a minority taste) is going to be on cable channels.

A friend told me about the 4400 and I went out and bought season 1 on DVD and loved it. I waited for what seemed and age for season 2 to come out on DVD and have just finished watching it. What an ending!!! I dont know when season 3 will be released on DVD here in the UK but I cant wait. What a fantastic series this is.

Just started watching, missed the first season and didn’t want to start
watching a good show just to see it get cancelled (missing and tru calling).
Caught the marathon on SciFi this weekend and now am going out to get the
seasons on dvd. Can’t wait for season 3 to start, but don’t know how I’ll live
with just one episode a week instead of the joy of 12 straight hours I just sat
through to get up to speed.

I just got done watching the First episode season three and I can not believe all that is happening. I loved Lily and I hope by some way she comes back. I have never gotten into shows like this but I tell you I am hooked. I can not wait for more. read Maias diary it gives a few clues and insights to whats to come.

The 4400 along with Lost and Prison Break are the three things (besides my kids) that I can’t live without.
Wasn’t it so that season 3 should of started on June 11th?

Season three looks like it will be explosive just can’t believe we only get six eps till the fall and then a further ? number though that is roumour my head will probably explode from the anticipation of it all.

My girlfriend got season one on DVD, and i’d never even heard of it at that point.
I’m into sci-fi, and sat and watched avidly the entire dvd and loved it.

Recently she managed to get season 2.. and the same happened again… we watched 3 episodes a night… we are
completely hooked

mmmmm what a cliffhanger of an ending on season 2… SEASON 3 PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tru. Cant wait for season 3. Any good sites with preview material. Us guys in africa might have to wait till november to see it. Anyone seen threshhold. Like some sic photocopy of the 4400! but nice.

= 338 seasons…….Well, i guess that’s my television needs sorted
