The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe DVD Release Date
Rumor has it that The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is being prepped for a release date around Easter 2006. Since DVDs are usually released on Tuesdays the most likely date would then be April 11th 2006 just before Easter. At this point however, this is little more than speculation.
At this stage there are very few details available about the DVD and what it will feature (beyond the movie itself). It’s now being reported that we can epect three versions of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe on DVD. These will be a 1.33:1 cropped version, 16×9 -enhanced 2.35:1 widescreen edition and then some sort of collectible deluxe edition which will likely carry a higher price.
One can also reasonably expect some forms of commentary tracks. The big question is whether there will be any additional footage or other specials added.
