The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe Set Report
There’s a new set report at TheOneRing.net, the fourth in their series of set reports for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This latest report is the Stone Table set which is a crucial scene in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
The description given for the Stone Table is very compelling, with the lichen covered stone, standing stones and of course the table itself with Greek looking lettering running around it. There’s also a description of an anamatronic lion which is presumably Aslan since he’s the only lion at the Stone Table as far as I recall. Aslan in the finished film will be 95% CGI, but I guess the remaining 5% is going to be pretty impressive itself. The animatronic as described is remarkably detailed with realistic fur and lots of little touches to make it more convincing. Since it’s for use in the Stone Table scene, its jaws are bound shut.
I really can’t wait to see this film. It just sounds so damn cool every time I read anything about it.
