The Librarian Mini-Review
Well I finally got round to watching The Librarian last night. Yeah I know, this isn’t exactly a topical review, so sue me. I have a life. Sort of. Anyway The Librarian was a relatively inoffensive little fantasy piece. Take Indiana Jones, throw in some Romancing the Stone, and then cut it down to tv movie size and you get The Librarian.
The special effects weren’t up to much, and the scripting was a bit clumsy in places, but the cast lead by Noah Wyle gamely did their best to inject spirit into the plot. You weren’t going to see anything original in this, but it wasn’t a bad way to pass two hours.
Thats pretty luke-warm praise I know, but come on, its a TNT TV-Movie, how much were you really expecting?
