The Return Of The King Extended DVD Easter Eggs
There are three easter eggs on The Lord of the Rings: The Return of The King Extended Edition.
To view a gag interview on Disc 1, go to the Scene Selections menu and highlight the horizontal picture of the last chapter on Disc 1, then press down on the remote control’s direction pad to highlight a ring icon. Click on that icon and view a gag interview with Elijah Wood conducted by Dominic Monaghan.
Similarly on Disc 2 there’s a skit from the 2004 MTV Movie Awards. Again, go to the Scene Selections menus, and highlight the horizontal picture of the last chapter on Disc 2. Press down on your remote control’s direction pad to highlight a ring icon. Click on the ring icon to watch the skit.
Finally, to view the DVD’s production credits on either Disc 3 or Disc 4, go to the Main Menu and move the menu cursor to the circle icon at the bottom of the page. Click on that icon and the credits will run.
