The SciFi Zone Radio Show Gets New Timeslot

The folks responsible for The SciFi Zone Radio Show were nice enough to send me a press release about their new format and timeslot and as part of my policy of favoring anyone who thinks I’m important enough to send me a press release, I’m going to tell everyone all about it. ;)

The SciFi Zone Radio Show is a syndicated radio show which has been airing in Central Florida for about two years now. The show includes guest interviews and segments such as the Animinute Club and Convention Zone.

Previously a 2 hour show, The SciFi Zone Radio Show will move to a one hour format along with a new timeslot of Saturday 11pm to midnight in Orlando, FL, 10pm to 11pm in Kansas City, MO and Sunday 11pm to midnight in Tampa, FL. The new times take effect Saturday August 6th.

The change in format is part of an effort to get The SciFi Zone Radio Show syndicated in other radio markets. A one hour show is easier to slot in to existing schedules than a 2 hour one. Apparently three new markets have already expressed interest in the show with this new format.
