Ultimate Star Wars DVD Set Planned For 2007
Well you knew this was coming right? It seems that rumors are spreading that Lucasfilm has plans to release a new Star Wars DVD boxed set during 2007. This “ultimate” Star Wars Anniversary DVD set will apparently contain all 6 Star Wars movies.
Beyond that though, there don’t seem to be any real details as far as what the set might contain. Given what’s happened in the past we might see further changes to the movies, more deleted scenes and a batch of featurettes on various aspects of making Star Wars.
It’s also not clear if these will be released on regular DVD, on the new High Definition DVD formats or on both formats.
If they don’t appear on HD DVD and Blu-Ray then we can expect yet another release after the “ultimate” edition.

If that has some new features that haven’t been released before, especially on the original trilogy I will definately buy it.
