Ultimate Avengers Website Online
The official website for the Ultimate Avengers direct to DVD animated movie has gone live and it looks pretty impressive. Actually when I say the site is live, many of the features on the site are coming soon, but the design is slick and you can view a trailer from the upcoming DVD from the site.
Although the trailer is heavily compressed it does show a promising level of sophistication for the animation. Unlike some direct to DVD projects this seems to be one where the creators have put some real effort into he quality.
Ultimate Avengers is based on early issues of the Ultimates comic book from Marvel Comics. The Ultimates is an alternate version of the regular Marvel Universe’ Avengers. The characters are re-imagined with a edgier and supposedly more modern feel. The DVD will feature Captain America, the Hulk, Thor and Iron Man amongst other super heroes.
Ultimate Avengers will be released on DVD and UMD on February 21st 2006.

There is a new and longer proper trailer that just launched on ign.com in the DVD section.
This is really sweet and I am now convinced the animation level will be superior to anyones
expectations. February 21 is the release date for the DVD…
