Video Interview with X-Men 3 Writer Simon Kinberg
IESB has a video interview with scriptwriter Simon Kinberg about his script for X-Men 3 and new director Brett Ratner. Amongst other things, Kinberg notes that while Ratner does have some ideas since shooting starts in a few weeks there really isn’t much room for re-writes anyway.
During the interview Kinberg confirms that Dark Phoenix is part of the X-Men 3 script. He also claims that the spoilers about the death of mutants and sex scenes in the script that were posted on Aintitcoolnews and subsequently other sites are from an earlier draft of the script.
This draft was, according to Kinberg, some 4 months old and actually only the first 88 pages of a very rough draft.
