War of the Worlds DVD Release
Steven Spielbergs movie adaptation of War of the Worlds, starring tom Cruise will be released on DVD on November 22nd 2005. The movie will be released in two editions a single-disc no frills release and a dual-disc special edition.
The single disc version of War of the Worlds will retail for $29.99 while the price of the special edition 2-disc DVD has not yet been announced. Both DVD versions will have a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and featured both Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 Surround sound tracks.
Extras on the two disc DVD edition will include an introduction by Steven Spielberg, a four part production diary documentary, four behind the scenes featurettes, design and production photo galleries and the films theatrical trailer.
