War of the Worlds Trailer
There’s a high quality trailer for Steven Spielberg’s War of the Worlds available now. It looks pretty slick, not to mention explosive.
No indication of plot from the trailer, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say its probably going to feature aliens invading the earth. Pure speculation of course, but I just have this feeling. 
I’m not sure what my feelings are about this one. Spielberg and Cruise are pretty much guaranteed a hit but somehow I just can’t generate the enthusiasm about a Spielberg film that I used to. On the other hand I did enjoy Minority Report.
Ambivalent. Thats the word that perfectly describes my current position.

I’m perfectly well aware of the book this movie is based on. I enjoyed both Orson Welles audio version and the older movie version of it. I simply didn’t feel like recapping what I thought would be obvious to anyone reading my site.
