You can watch the first Watchmen video journal at the Comics2Film website. Warner Bros adaptation of the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons graphic novel of the same name is scheduled for release on March 6th 2009.
As a huge fan of the comic, I've been watching this adaptation with nervous anticipation. The recently released character shots were promising, and this video blog is outright encouraging. The effort they are going to to recreate the visual style of Watchmen is impressive.
I'm still not sure exactly how they are going to take a story as dense as Watchmen and condense it to fit a normal length movie, but I am very hopeful.
