Whats Happening With V For Vendetta Movie?
Its been very quiet from the producers of the V for Vendetta movie recently. In fact we really haven’t heard anything from them since the release date of the movie was changed from November 5th to March 17th by Warner Brothers. Makes you wonder what’s going on doesn’t it?
The reason given for the change in release date was “to accommodate the movie’s post-production schedule”, which is at least plausible, but the lack of any additional information tends to make people suspicious. Well IGN FilmForce did a little digging and were able to establish from various sources that production on the film is continuing as plans. Apparently the release date change really was caused by creative decisions.
While Cinesite and Double Negative (two UK based special effects houses) have produced some wonderful visuals for V for Vendetta and delivered them on time, other creative decisions simply mean that post production on the movie isn’t finished yet. No one is saying anything apparently because there really isn’t anything to say right now.
V for Vendetta is based on the Alan Moore graphic novel of the same name and stars Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving. It is now scheduled to open on March 17th
