X-Files Revelations Hits DVD
Timed to capitalize on the upcoming X-Files movie, Fox Home Entertainment is releasing X-Files Revelations on July 8th. This two disc DVD set features 8 episodes from the X-Files that have been hand picked by series creator Chris Carter.
Each episode on X-Files Revelations features an all new introduction by Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz revealing why the episode was chosen and how they relate to the upcoming feature film.
Also featured in this release is a WonderCon panel session from February 2008 where Carter ad Spotnitz along side David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson take questions from X-Philes in an interview spanning over 38 minutes.
The DVD which is presented in both full-frame (5 episodes) and widescreen (3 episodes) contains the following episodes:
- Pilot (from Season 1)
- Beyond the Sea (from Season 1)
- The Host (from Season 2)
- Clyde Bruckmans Final Repose (from Season 3)
- Memento Mori (from Season 4)
- Post-Modern Prometheus (from Season 5)
- Bad Blood (from Season 5)
- Milagro (from Season 6)
The X-Files Revelations will be released on July 8th 2008 with a recommended price of $22.98 U.S. / $25.98 Canada
