X-Men 3 Has A Title!

Tom Rothman, head of Fox Studios has confirmed that the title of the X-Men 3 is in fact X-Men: The Last Stand. Rothman also said that the third movie in the X-Men series can be considered the final part of a trilogy. Rothamn explained that:

“These three movies work as a trilogy. These characters in this relationship, it’s the culmination of that saga. It’s the culmination and the resolution of those relationships laid out in the first two movies.”

Rothman also confirmed that the studio is indeed continuing to develop spin-off movies centered on the characters of Wolverine and Magneto. However, this doesn’t mean that there will be no more X-Men movies. One of the advantages the X-Men series has is the huge range of mutant characters and plot lines which can be taken from the comics to create additional movies.
