X-Men vs. Superman
It looks like it might be about to get ugly between the X-Men 3 and Superman camps. First Bryan Singer jumped to helm the new Superman flim, then James Marsden took the part of Perry White’s son. Next Shawn Ashmore was rumored to be up for the role of Jimmy Olsen.
But it seems that 20th Century Fox is holding a grudge against Singer. They’ve told all actors who have options for the third X-Men film that it will begin shooting June 20th (which just happens to conflict with shooting dates for Superman Returns). Marsden is looking increasingly unlikely to appear in X-Men 3 as Cyclops.
Given that there is neither a finished script, nor a director in place for X3, its very suspicious that they should think they will be shooting the film in only a few months.

And in hindsite, X3 was mediocre and Superman Returns was just plain awful. Hopefully studios learned from both of these (judging from Iron Man, maybe they have)
