Zak Penn To Write X-Men 3
Zak Penn has been hired to draft the script for the third X-Men movie. Penn who had a story credit on X2, also worked on Elektra. In fact his resume includes Inspector Gadget and Last Action Hero so color me nervous.
Bryan Singer, who directed the first two X-Men films, will not return for the third film and a new director has not yet been announced. At this point its believed that most of the cast from the previous films will be back for the third one, but again no announcements have been made. Nor is there any indication yet what the plot line of the third film will be.
Though obvious speculation would be something based around Dark Phoenix.
