I was taking to a long time friend of mine about Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith film and I said that I believed all the money was up there on the screen. I watched most of the episodes of Firefly when they originally aired on Fox, but before it was cancelled I had already lost interest in the series. I’ve always been faintly amazed at the loyalty and enthusiasm that Firefly generated. I just shrugged my shoulders and figured it was one of those shows I didn’t “get”.

Please allow me to take a moment for self-congratulations. I hit two milestones this week of various degrees of significance.
First off Solar Flare passed the 500 post mark. Which means by my estimates we could hit the 1000 post point before the end of 2005. In itself that’s perhaps not very amazing or significant, but it does indicate Solar Flare’s continued growth and the maturation of its new blog format.…
