Perhaps more of a question or suggestion than a comment: I was wondering
whether anyone saw “Martians Go Home!”, a movie made of the wonderful
classic Frederick Browne 50’s novel of the same name. Stars Randy Quaid
and occasionally (in the ending, particularly) reminds me of the
Ghostbusters movies. As for myself, I found it a VERY funny work on an
unusual conception for an alien population and alien assault on mankind,
one that also manages to unexpectedly show facets of who we are and how
we cope and exist…. Available on VCR tape, if not (to my knowledge) on
DVD.
